Only known R/T SE Sunroof Super Track Pak car for sale!

That’s right, Lenny has very begrudgingly decided to sell his one owner 1969 Sunroof Charger R/T SE 440 4-speed Dana car. They only produced around 29 R/T SE sunroof Chargers in 1969, and to date – of the 17 known to still exist – this is the ONLY known Super Track Pak car (4 speed, 4.10 Dana Sure Grip) in that bunch. Outfitted in gorgeous A4 Silver with the black tail stripe, this car came equipped with the Light Package, Power Disc Brakes, Center Console, Dual Chrome Mirrors, Tach, Power Windows, AM/8 Track Radio, and the Special Edition (SE) group of goodies – which included the Leather and vinyl front bucket seats, Sport Steering Wheel, Pedal Dress-up Pkg, and Wood Grain Instrument panel. Asking $165K. Serious buyers can give Lenny a call at: 1-973-865-3364 for more details and pictures.

Another R/T SE comes to light!

public01

This R/T SE is one of approximately 29 that were shipped to US Dealerships. It also became the 16th sunroof R/T SE known to exist – pretty cool that over half of these cars are still around! The owner is currently getting the engine back in shape and should be on the road again before too long. Another cool note is that this is the only R6 Red 1969 sunroof Charger known.

1971 Sunroof Fury GT revealed at MCACN.

This gorgeous 1971 Plymouth Fury GT made its debut at the 2017 Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals the weekend before Thanksgiving. The owner entrusted Magnum Auto Restorations out of Illinois to bring this one back, and they did an outstanding job. The car was judged and awarded Concourse Gold – an impressive feat given that not a lot of reproduction parts are available for these particular cars. This car is a true gem, as only 13 or so Fury GTs were outfitted with the power sunroof. Here is the car in its un-restored state – Mark and the crew can make miracles happen!

The Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals will open its doors on Saturday November 18th for thousands of car enthusiasts looking to take in the sites and smells of vintage muscle. Amidst the crowd will be at least a couple of factory sunroof cars. The owner of this car lives in the mid-west and has owned this beauty for many years – although it did not look like this when he purchased it. It was very rough, and required a lot of NOS and reproduction metal to bring it back to life. It was restored in the late 80s/early 90s, and has had one paint retouch in 2005. This 1971 Challenger R/T is equipped with the 383 4 bbl big block, mated to the 727 Torqueflite transmission. Options abound on this car, so much so that the original sticker price was just north of $5600.

1970 Chrysler 300 Hurst Prototype Debuts at Chrysler Carlisle

public01

There was only 1 sunroof 1970 Chrysler Hurst made – and this is it. After outfitting many mid-sized cars with its signature shifter, Hurst wanted to expand its presence into the larger luxury cars. Hurst grabbed a 1970 Chrysler 300 and quickly went to work on customizing it with several Hurst touches. A custom deck lid was fabricated, the car was painted white with gold accents, dual exhaust tips were installed, and a Hurst shifter was mounted in the center console. When shown to the Chrysler Brass, someone suggested a sunroof be installed also. In the end, the sunroof option would not be available, and the final production model would not carry the 4 speed transmission with the Hurst shifter. If you would like to get a closer look, the owner will have the car at MCACN in Chicago this November. (Photo by Beep Beep Dave of For C-Bodies Only)

The C-bodies have a hard time finding love here in the States, but there is no shortage when it comes to our European neighbors. Many C-bodies have made the trip across the pond – and this 1972 sunroof Imperial is one of those. Originally destined for England in 2013, this large barge has settled in Germany for now. As you can see, the owner of this giant icon of Chrysler likes to get it out on display for other to appreciate as well.

Ben Snobar Hemi Charger set to be auctioned in just a couple of weeks.

70snobar

With only a couple of weeks left before the Snobar auction in Washington, no documentation has surfaced on his car to prove that it is a factory sunroof car. Only the VIN tells the tale that this is a true Hemi car, but unfortunately, the sunroof cannot be verified at this time. Regardless, if you are needing some hard to find Mopar parts – Ben had a giant stash of them – and all are going to be auctioned off on August 1st. http://murphyauction.com
