There was only 1 sunroof 1970 Chrysler Hurst made – and this is it. After outfitting many mid-sized cars with its signature shifter, Hurst wanted to expand its presence into the larger luxury cars. Hurst grabbed a 1970 Chrysler 300 and quickly went to work on customizing it with several Hurst touches. A custom deck lid was fabricated, the car was painted white with gold accents, dual exhaust tips were installed, and a Hurst shifter was mounted in the center console. When shown to the Chrysler Brass, someone suggested a sunroof be installed also. In the end, the sunroof option would not be available, and the final production model would not carry the 4 speed transmission with the Hurst shifter. If you would like to get a closer look, the owner will have the car at MCACN in Chicago this November. (Photo by Beep Beep Dave of For C-Bodies Only)
